[Football] 15 Spire Football Players Graduate


[Women's Track & Field] Women's Track and Field Takes Fourth at KCAC Championships
The Saint Mary women's track and field teams brought home fourth place out of 12 teams at the KCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Wichita.


[Baseball] Spires Baseball Plates Four All-KCAC Selections
The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2018 all-conference baseball awards. Student-athletes were selected for all awards by vote of the KCAC head baseball coaches. The University of Saint Mary had one first team selection, one second team selection, two honorable mention selections, and a gold glove recipeint for the 2018 season.Juan Gallardo was named 1st Team All-KCAC at catcher. Daunte Freeman was selected 2nd Team All-KCAC at utility. Dylan Carrender and Shun Tsunoda earned honorable mention and Tsunoda was named a Gold Glove outfielder.


[Softball] Softball Names Four on All-KCAC Teams
The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2018 all-conference softball awards. Student-athletes were selected for all awards by vote of the KCAC head softball coaches. The Spires had two first team selections in outfielder Kaila Trowbrdige and third baseman Lindsey Fishman. Samantha Torres and Hailey Reece each earned second team honors.


[Women's Lacrosse] Hinckley Earns 1st Team All-KCAC for Women's Lacrosse
The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2018 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Awards. The awards were voted on by the women's lacrosse head coaches. The University of Saint Mary was proud to announce one member of the 1st Team All-KCAC: Jenna Hinckley.


[Men's Lacrosse] USM Men's LAX Tabs Six All-KCAC Slots
The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2018 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Awards. The awards were voted on by the men's lacrosse head coaches. The University of Saint Mary had three student-athletes recognized as 1st Team All-KCAC and three with 2nd Team honors.Billy Dineen, Cory Wunderlich, and AJ Nardi were each named first team. The second team selections were Matthew Waeckerle, Tyler French, and Brandon Newman.

University of Saint Mary Head Athletic Trainer Raeann Bromert was honored for her selfless work ensuring the health and safety of student-athletes with the Drug Free Sport® Continuing Education Award.


[Baseball] Spires Baseball Wraps Season at Tabor
The Saint Mary baseball team took one win in their three game series at Tabor to close the 2018 season this weekend. The Spires dropped game one 9-7 and won game two 3-2 before falling 9-0 in the season finale.


[Softball] Softball Splits at Friends, Earns #5 Seed at KCAC Tourney
The Saint Mary softball team earned a double header split at Friends in their final two games of the regular season this weekend. The Spires dropped game one 8-3 and rallied for an 11-10 win in game two. The Spires finish the season 11-11 in KCAC play and in fifth place in the conference. They will take on Friends again in the first round of the KCAC Tournament. The full bracket has not yet been released.

[Men's Lacrosse] Saint Mary Men's Lacrosse Finishes Runner-Up at KCAC Tournament
The Saint Mary men's lacrosse team saw the 2018 season come to an end as they finished Runner-Up in the KCAC Tournament hosted at Berkel Stadium this weekend. The Spires bested St. Ambrose 10-6 in the semifinals but fell to Missouri Valley 11-9 in the championship game. Saint Mary finishes the season with a 10-6 record.


[Baseball] Spires Baseball Splits at McPherson
The Saint Mary baseball team split a resumed double header at McPherson on Tuesday. The games had been suspended due to wet turf at McPherson earlier in the season. The Spires took a 12-1 victory in game one and lost the second game 3-2. `


[Softball] Softball Clinches KCAC Tourney Berth With Sweep of McPherson
The Saint Mary softball team swept McPherson with a 2-1 win in eight innings and a 5-3 win in game two to clinch a berth in the KCAC Tournament. The Spires are now 10-10 in KCAC play tied with McPherson for fifth place but holding the tie breaker over the Bulldogs based on head to head performance.

University of Saint Mary Spires Baseball will take on in-state opponent University of Kansas Jayhawks baseball team at Houglund Ballpark in Lawrence on Wednesday, April 25 at 6 p.m. This matchup will be one nine-inning game.

The Saint Mary softball team split a double header with Bethany at home on Saturday. The Spires dropped game one 8-0 and won the second game 6-5. Saint Mary is now 8-10 in KCAC play holding on to seventh place in the conference standings. The top eight qualify for the KCAC Post-Season Tournament.

[Men's Lacrosse] Saint Mary Men's Lacrosse Rallies for OT Win Over Benedicine
The Saint Mary men's lacrosse team rallied for a 7-6 overtime win at RV Benedicinte on Saturday. The win closes the regular season for the Spires with a 9-5 record overall and a 3-3 record in KCAC play. The Spires own the #3 seed for the KCAC Tournament.

The Saint Mary baseball team took one of three games against #25 Friends this weekend. The Spires earned a 7-6 win in the first game then fell 14-2 and 7-6 in the final two games.


[Softball] Saint Mary Softball Sweeps Southwestern
The Saint Mary softball team earned a double header sweep over Southwestern on Saturday at home. The Spires took game one 6-5 and won the second game 4-3. The Spires are now in a three way tie for seventh place in the KCAC Standings with a 6-8 record in conference play.


[Baseball] Baseball Taken Down By Benedictine
The Saint Mary baseball team took a 7-4 loss to Benedictine on Wednesday afternoon at Saint Mary Field. A five run first inning for the Ravens got the Spires out to a rocky start and missed opportunities prevented the comeback effort.

The Saint Mary softball team earned a double header split at York on Wednesday. The Spires dropped game one 3-2 and came back for a 4-3 win in in extra innings for the second game. Saint Mary is now 7-9 in KCAC play putting them in seventh place of the KCAC Standings.
