WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- Point Park University had its 2018 season run all the way to the finals of the NAIA Baseball National Championship Round Williamsburg Bracket but unfortunately come up short.
[Track & Field] Shields' 800 leads Pioneers at Allegheny Invite
MEADVILLE, Pa. -- Anna Shields knocked two seconds off her No. 1-ranked 800 meters time to lead the Point Park University track and field competitors at the Allegheny Gator Invitational on Friday. Shields ran a time of 2:05.76 to bypass her previous best by two full seconds, and her new school record is now within 2.76 seconds of the U.S. Olympic trials standard of 2:03 in the event.
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- Point Park University had the most players selected on the All-River States Conference Baseball Teams, which were recognized last week at the RSC Baseball Tournament in Chillicothe, Ohio. The Pioneers (45-7) had 11 players chosen overall to lead the league. They had a league-high six on the first team and a league-high five on the second team.

The Pioneers (43-7) are the No. 2 seed in the six-team, double-elimination tournament, and IU Kokomo (31-20-1) are the No. 4 seed.
