[Archery] Sarah Morrow Commits to Mount Marty College Lancer Archery
Mount Marty College (MMC) in Yankton, South Dakota, recently announced the commitment of Sarah Morrow. A 2018 graduate of Binghamton High School in Binghamton, NY, Morrow will attend MMC fall 2018 semester and compete for the Lancers Archery program.


[Baseball] Miami Marlins Tryout Camp to be Hosted in Yankton
In coordination with Miami Marlins Baseball scout Hank Krause, Mount Marty College Lancer Athletics will host a Miami Marlins tryout camp on Wednesday, June 13 in Yankton, SD. The tryout camp will take place at the home ballpark for the Mount Marty College Lancers baseball team ——  Riverside Field at Bob Tereshinski Stadium, 407 Levee Street in Yankton.

Mount Marty College (MMC) in Yankton, South Dakota, is pleased to announce the commitment of Molly McCloud. McCloud is set to graduate this spring from Rapid City Stevens High School in Rapid City, South Dakota. McCloud will attend MMC next fall and play for the Lancers Softball program.

Mount Marty College (MMC) in Yankton, South Dakota, recently announced the commitment of Tory Wolf. Wolf will graduate with an associate degree this spring from Spokane Community College in Spokane, Washington. Wolf will transfer to MMC next fall and play for the Lancers Softball program.

[Cross Country] Erickson Signs to Lancer Cross Country and Track
Mount Marty College is pleased to announce the commitment of Alfonso Erickson. Erickson will graduate this spring from Irene-Wakonda High School and is set to attend Mount Marty next fall and participate in the cross country and track programs for the Lancers


[Men's Indoor Track & Field] Lancer Track Sprints into Nationals
On Saturday, the Mount Marty track team ran against some of their toughest competition of the year.  At the SDSU Indoor Classic, the competition was full of division I competition and the Lancers faired well. " We love coming to this meet. While it is huge, we see some of our best competition and use it to run some of our best times before conference. It is also great to run on a 300m track, just like to one we will run on at nationals," says head coach Randall Fischer.

[Men's Soccer] Transfer Trent Jones set to Play Soccer at Mount Marty
Trent Jones, a 2017 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, IA, Jones has transferred from Grandview University and is currently attending MMC this spring and has joined the Lancers men's soccer program.

However, the Lancer's are coming off a strong showing at the Dennis Young Classic where the men and women's teams came home with a combined 5 event wins.

Mount Marty College recently announced the commitment of Leonardo Davalos. A 2018 graduate of South Sioux City High School in South Sioux City, Nebraska, Davalos will attend MMC next fall and play for the men's soccer program.


[Archery] Lancer Archers Bring Home Six Medals at Regionals, Qualify for Indoor Nationals
The Mount Marty College Archery Team brought home three gold, one silver and one bronze medal at the 2018 US Intercollegiate Indoor Archery North Regional Championships taking place in January 21, in Yankton, SD.  Curtis Lapour (FR/Humphrey, NE) took home gold in the Men's Barebow division; continuing his winning record from the fall season. Kendra Hunhoff (SO/Yankton, SD), a spring walk-on to the varsity program, won gold in the Women's Compound division. Christina Winker (SO/Winfred, SD), also a spring walk-on finished with a silver medal finish in the Women's Bowhunter division. Jeff Wanner (FR/Henry, SD) earned top spot in the Men's Bowhunter division with a personal best performance. In the Women's Olympic Recurve division McKenna Cooley (FR/Las Vegas, NV) and Callie Stevens (SO/Florence, MT) took home second and third place, respectively.

Schlimgen Legacy at MMC to Continue through Todd Schlimgen as New Head CoachAfter 44 total years of coaching and inspiring student-athletes, Mount Marty College (MMC) Women's Head Basketball Coach Tom Schlimgen has announced he will retire after the 2017-18 academic year. In July, Associate Head Coach Todd Schlimgen will take over for Tom, who has led the Lancers women's basketball team to incredible athletic and academic success during the past 10 years.
