[Women's Golf] Bosanko selected to Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large team
Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf student-athlete Palmer Bosanko (SR/Henderson, Nev.) has been selected to the 2018 Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).


[Women's Golf] Women's Golf in 26th after first round of NAIA National Championships
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf team made its NAIA Nationals debut on Tuesday in the 24th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship and the Coyotes sit in 26th place after the first round at the PGA National Champion Course. Senior Palmer Bosanko (SR/Henderson, Nev.) leads the Coyotes in the tournament tied for 12th place.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf team finished its NAIA National Championship debut on Wednesday with a finish in 27th place after the second round of the 24th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championships at the PGA National Champion Course.

The Kansas Wesleyan Women's Golf team will make its NAIA National Championship debut starting Tuesday as the Coyotes participate in the 24th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championships at the PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

A total of 142 individuals, 114 undergraduate and 28 graduate, that are currently involved in Kansas Wesleyan Athletics or were involved in athletics at some point during their collegiate journey participated in the university's graduate exercises on Saturday on campus. Additionally a number of both current and former student-athletes were recognized at Friday night's Graduation Celebration Dinner.

[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis earns KCAC Team of Character award
The Kansas Wesleyan Men's Tennis team earned the 2018 KCAC Men's Tennis Team of Character Award as announced at the KCAC Tennis Championships. The KCAC Team of Character award is sponsored by IMA and Dissinger Reed, and was based off of the NAIA Champions of Character award and recognizes a school in each sport, as voted on by their peer coaches.


[Softball] Krause and Maryon highlight Softball's All-KCAC selections
Kansas Wesleyan's Megan Krause (SO/San Diego, Calif.) was selected to the All-KCAC first team and outfielder Lindsay Maryon (SO/Carlsbad, Calif.) earned a KCAC Gold Glove in the outfield to highlight KWU's five All-KCAC Softball selections as announced by the conference office after selection by the conference coaches.


[Outdoor Track & Field] Sarafin's win at 1500m highlights day as Men's Track finishes ...
WICHITA – Michael Sarafin (JR/Peyton, Colo.) won the men's 1500m run to highlight the day for the Kansas Wesleyan Track and Field teams as the men finished tenth and the women finished 12th at the KCAC Championships hosted by Friends University on Thursday and Friday.


[KWU] KWU Athletics honors the best of the best at the 2018 Yotees Awards
Kansas Wesleyan Athletics honored the best of the best of the year in Coyote Athletics with the 2018 Yotees Award held on Monday night in Sams Chapel on the KWU campus. The event is in its fourth year and is completely run by the KWU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.


[Men's Tennis] Rincon and Moody named Second Team All-KCAC Men's Tennis
Kansas Wesleyan's men's tennis student-athletes Mario Rincon (JR/Bogota, Colombia) and Michael Moody (JR/Midwest City, Okla.) have been named Second Team All-KCAC as the conference has announced the Men's Tennis All-KCAC selections as voted upon by the conference coaches.


[Wrestling] O'Donnell named NWCA NAIA All-Academic Team
Kansas Wesleyan's Tanner O'Donnell (SR/Salina, Kan.) was named to the NWCA NAIA All-Academic Team as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.


[Baseball] Campbell and Sandoval highlight Baseball's five All-KCAC selections
Rex Campbell (SR/Roseville, Calif.) was named to the All-KCAC second team and pitcher Jakob Sandoval (JR/El Paso, Texas) earned the KCAC Gold Glove at his position to highlight Kansas Wesleyan's five all-conference selections as the KCAC announced the All-KCAC Baseball awards. Three other Coyotes were named to the Honorable Mention All-KCAC team in Yodai Nakamura (JR/Las Vegas, Nev.) (JR/Las Vegas, Nev.), Zach Lehman (JR/Buckeye, Ariz.) (JR/Buckeye, Ariz.) and Ryan Cantrell (SR/Lawrence, Kan.) (SR/Lawrence, Kan.).


[Women's Tennis] Vargas named KCAC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Year
Kansas Wesleyan Women's Tennis student-athlete Paola Vargas (FR/Santa Cruz, Bolivia) was named as the KCAC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Year as the conference announced the All-KCAC selections as voted upon by the coaches.

The longest running fundraising event for Kansas Wesleyan Athletics, the Coyote Cup, welcomed 76 golfers on Friday at the Salina Country Club.


[Football] Offense shines for Football in Spring Game
The Kansas Wesleyan Football team held its annual spring game to conclude the spring practice session on Saturday at the Graves Family Sports Complex and the offensive squad performed well in all facets of the game.


[Baseball] Baseball completes sweep of Sterling to close out 2018 season
The Kansas Wesleyan Baseball team concluded its run through the 2018 slate on Saturday, completing a series sweep over the Sterling College Warriors by winning both ends of a doubleheader 8-3 and 4-3 at Dean Evans Stadium.


[Baseball] Baseball drops contest to NCAA-II William Jewell 6-3
LIBERTY, Mo. – The Kansas Wesleyan Baseball team stepped outside of conference play for the final time in 2018 as the Coyotes traveled to Talley Stadium to take on the William Jewell Cardinals on Tuesday afternoon. Jewell would pick up the 6-3 win in the game.


[Men's Golf] Men's Golf finishes second at KCAC Championships Final Leg and in Championship Race
GARDEN CITY – The Kansas Wesleyan Men's Golf team finished in second place in the Final Leg of the KCAC Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday at Buffalo Dunes. Fueled by a low-round score of 307 in the final round, the Coyotes finished with a two-day total of 896 (293-296-307) just five shots behind Bethany.


[Football] Football Spring Game is Saturday
The Kansas Wesleyan Football team will conclude its spring practice sessions on Saturday with the Spring Game starting at 11 a.m. at the Graves Family Sports Complex on the KWU campus.


[Softball] Softball concludes 2018 campaign with split with Tabor
HILLSBORO – The Kansas Wesleyan Softball team concluded the 2018 season splitting with conference-leading Tabor on Friday at the Hillsboro Sports Complex. Wesleyan won the first game 3-0 behind an outstanding pitching performance by Megan Krause (SO/San Diego, Calif.), and Tabor won the second game 7-3.


[Baseball] Baseball takes series opener over Sterling 7-2
After battling Mother Nature all season long, the Kansas Wesleyan Baseball team got a picture perfect day on Friday at Dean Evans Stadium to take on the Sterling College Warriors to open the final regular season series of the year. The Coyotes would take advantage, coming away with the 7-2 win over the Warriors.
