TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced the 2018 Regional and National Award winners this past week and Bethany's Logan Palenske was awarded the ITA Central Region Coach of the Year and is one of four coaches up for ITA National Coach of the Year.

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Swedes had 12 athletes who participated in the Sam Williams Last Chance Qualifying Meet on May 12th.

WICHITA, Kan. – The Swedes men's and women's track and field teams competed in the KCAC Championships last weekend with the men finishing 7th and the women finishing 8th overall. The Swedes also saw eight athletes receive 1st Team KCAC awards with 11 Honorable Mention awards.

Topeka, Kan. —The (RV) Bethany men's tennis team showed tremendous fight as they rallied back in the conference semi-finals, to defeat the 14 win Ottawa Braves, at the Kossover Tennis Center. With the win the Swedes' move to 15-1 on the season, and book their place in the conference finals Saturday, against the nationally ranked McPherson Bulldogs.

TOPEKA, Kan. —Saturday, featured a battle against the top two teams in the region and in the conference, with a conference title, and a trip to the NAIA Nationals on the line. The two teams battled back and forth for almost five hours on court, before it was McPherson who came from behind in the final deciding match to edge the Swedes' 5-4, and end the Swedes' season at a remarkable 15-2.
GARDEN CITY, Kan. – The Swedes men's golf team finished up their KCAC campaign with a team championship. Bethany won the second leg of the championships in Garden City with team rounds of 287, 290, and 314 for a total of 891. This added to their previous score in Wichita, Kan. totaled 1518 to finish 12 strokes ahead of the next closest team.

LINDSBORG, Kan. – The Swedes baseball team suffered a heart breaking loss yesterday in game one of the series with the visiting Falcons of Friends University. Coming down to a nail biter in the ninth inning, Bethany fell 11-10.

WICHITA, Kan. —Wednesday, the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2018 Men's Tennis All-Conference Awards. The awards were voted on by the men's tennis head coaches. The historic 14-1 season for the Swedes' was recognized, as they took home several top accolades on the day.
[Football] 2018 Bethany College Football Schedule Announced
LINDSBORG, Kan. – The 2018 Bethany College football schedule is complete with 11 games, slated to begin August 25 and culminate with a bye in the final week of the season, November 10. The Swedes will host five KCAC opponents at Anderson Stadium this season: Bethel, Ottawa, conference rival Kansas Wesleyan, Sterling, and KCAC newcomer Avila.
WINFIELD, Kan. – The Swedes track and field team competed at the Southwestern Relays where they finished with 27 personal bests, 17 event finalists, four event medalists, one national qualifier, and one event champion.

Lindsborg, Kan. —The (RV) Bethany men's tennis team did not let their opponents or the Kansas Winds slow them down, as they capped off a historic regular season with a 9-0 shutout over Oklahoma Wesleyan, at the Ron Dalsten Tennis Complex. With the win the Swedes' finished the regular season 13-1, and currently are tied for the third highest winning percentage in all of NAIA this season.

Manheim, Pennsylvania — Bethany College of Lindsborg, Kansas checked in atop the annual NWCA NAIA All-Academic team standings for the 2017-18 season announced Monday by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

LINDSBORG, Kan. – The Swedes picked up two shutout wins over Southwestern by scores of 8-0 and 2-0.

MCPHERSON, Kan. – The Swedes baseball team picked up a win in the weather adjusted series at McPherson. Bethany won the single nine-inning game 11-3.

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The Swedes softball team picked up a big KCAC road split at Saint Mary. Bethany won the first game 8-0 in five innings before falling 6-5 in game two.

MCPHERSON, Kan. – The Swedes baseball team picked up two wins today to sweep the series at McPherson. Bethany picked up a 5-3 win in game one, before taking game two 8-1.
WICHITA —The (RV) Bethany men's tennis team quickly powered by the Friends University Falcons on Saturday, with a 9-0 victory on the road. With the win the Swedes move to 12-0, and remain only the third team in all of the NAIA that remains undefeated still on the season, and also as of yesterday, have appeared inside the top 30 the last four National Polls.

LINDSBORG, Kan. – The Swedes baseball team finished off a three-game sweep of the visiting Warriors of Sterling College. Bethany won the final contest 21-8.

SALINA, Kan. —With mother nature doing her part, the battle of the two top teams in the region was forced indoors Sunday, to Genesis Health Clubs, in Salina. It was here where the Nationally Ranked McPherson Bulldogs, edged out 12-0 Bethany Swedes, by a final match score of 6-3. With the win McPherson moved to 10-3, and 6-0 in the KCAC, and Bethany drops to 12-1, and 6-1 in the KCAC.

LINDSBORG, Kan. – Bethany baseball picked up a nonconference split in their doubleheader with Mid-America Christian. The Swedes won game one, 10-6, before falling 8-10 in the second contest.
